Agoviz (Agomelatine) Tablet is an antidepressant medication used in the treatment of depression (a mood disorder that involves persistent feelings of sadness and loss of interest in daily activities) in adults.

How it works: Agoviz Tablet is composed of Agomelatine as an active ingredient and belongs to the anti-depressant class of drugs. It works by increasing the concentration of certain neurotransmitters like dopamine and noradrenaline.
Some side effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
- Dry mouth
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Back pain
- Stomach upset
Some serious side effects may also occur;
- Persistent Vomiting and Nausea
- Blurred vision
- Drowsiness
- Unusual tiredness
- Increase in weight
These effects tend to be temporary and may disappear when your body adjusts to this medication. You should stop the use immediately and consult your doctor or a pharmacist if an allergic reaction occurs.
