Aldomet
Aldomet (methyldopa) Tablet is an antihypertensive drug. It is used for the lowering of high blood pressure in patients with hypertension.
Each tablet of Aldomet contains the active ingredient methyldopa, which is known as a centrally acting antiadrenergic agent.

How it works:
Aldomet Tablet is a safe and effective antihypertensive that lowers high blood pressure. Its use is particularly indicated in hypertension associated with pregnancy.
works by inhibiting the formation of a natural chemical that narrows blood vessels, thus causing vasodilation.
Once the blood vessels are relaxed and widened, blood pressure is lowered, and it is easier for the heart to pump blood to the rest of the body.

The possible side-effects of taking this medicine include:
- Allergic reaction
- Pain in the joints
- Chest pain
- Slow heart rate
- Angina
- AV block
- Severe skin reactions
- Liver problems
- Pain in abdomen
- Colitis
- Pancreatitis
