AV-Sartan (Amlodipine +Valsartan) 10mg+160mg Tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It is also used to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina).

Package contains: Each package of AV-Sartan contains fully coated 14 tablets of 10mg+160mg & full prescribing information inside.

Composition:

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Amlodipine besylate USP equivalent to Amlodipine 10mg.

Valsartan USP 160mg.

Instructions:

Keep out of reach of children. For oral use only. Use only on medical advice.

Store below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.

Side Effects

Inflammation of the nose and throat, Dizziness, Nausea or stomach pain, Swelling of the feet, ankles, and lower legs.

Contradiction: This medicine is contraindicated in liver impairment, severe renal impairment, and hypersensitivity to the drug.

Precautions:

Before taking amlodipine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to other dihydropyridine calcium channel blockers (such as nisoldipine, nifedipine) or if you have any other allergies.

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, thyroid problems. It should be used with caution if the patient has an electrolyte imbalance.

This drug may pose risks to your pregnancy, therefore please do not take this medicine without consulting your doctor first.
