Axalor-D
Axalor-D (Desloratadine) U.S.P tablets are used for allergic disorders. They are long-acting, non-sedating antihistamines.
The active ingredient Desloratadine works by blocking the natural substances that are produced during allergic conditions.
Package Contains:
Each package contains 10 tablets of Axalor-D (5mg).
Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
Desloratadine (U.S.P) 5mg.
Product complies with U.S.P specifications.
Dosage:
For adults once daily or as prescribed by the physician.
Therapeutic Indications: Axalor-D tablet is indicated in adults and adolescents (12 years of age and above) for symptomatic relief of:
Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Nasal or non-nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis.
Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Nasal or non-nasal symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis.
Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria: Pruritis, reduction in number and size of hives.
Contradictions:
This drug is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Desloratadine or any of its excipients.
Overdosage:
In case of overdose, consider standard measures to remove any unabsorbed drug followed by symptomatic and supportive treatment.
Desloratadine and its metabolites are not eliminated by hemodialysis.
Warnings and Precautions:
Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, and glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine.
