It is used with a healthy diet and proper exercise to control high blood sugar in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Each package contains 14 film coated tablets of 5mg+850mg and leaflet (instructions). It is also available in 5mg+1000mg film coated tablets.

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

Dapagliflozin propanediol Monohydrate eq to Dapagliflozin 5mg.

Metformin HCI USP 850mg.

How it works:

Dapa Met Tablet is composed of Dapagliflozin + Metformin. Dapagliflozin belongs to a group of drugs known as sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors.

Metformin is a member of the biguanide class of medicines. It shows effectiveness by reducing the amount of sugar made by your liver.

It also helps by preventing loss of limbs, blindness, kidney damage, nerve problems, and sexual problems by lowering high blood sugar levels.

Side effects:

Some common side effects are Sore throat, Runny nose, Vomiting, Nausea, Diarrhea, Headache, & Stomach problems.

Instructions:
