DioPlus (Amlodipine + Valsartan Tablet USP) (5/160mg) Tablet is a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing the muscles of your heart and blood vessels.
Uses: It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension. It is also used to prevent certain types of chest pain (angina).
Package Contains: It contains 14 tablets.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Amlodipine (as Amlodipine Besylate USP) 5mg
Valsartan USP 160mg
Dosage: As directed by the physician.
Indications: See the pack insert.
Precautions: It should be used with caution if the patient has an electrolyte imbalance (such as high or low potassium levels in your blood).
Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: a certain structural heart problem (aortic stenosis), very low blood pressure, liver disease.
This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver disease, thyroid problems. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it.
Side effects: Inflammation of the nose and throat, Dizziness, Nausea or stomach pain, Swelling of the feet, ankles, and lower legs.
Instructions: Keep out of reach of children. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Do not Store & transport above 30°C.
