Duvel Plus
Duvel Plus (Sitagliptin and Metformin HCI) Tablet is usually prescribed for the treatment of high blood sugar in patients having diabetes type 2. High blood sugar can cause nerve problems, kidney damage, sexual functions problems, and various issues for diabetes patients.
It is a combination of two drugs. It contains two active ingredients Sitagliptin and Metformin. Sitagliptin is related to the class of medicines known as DPP-4 inhibitors.
Metformin is belonging to the class of medicines known as biguanides. It shows effectiveness by growing specific substances in the body which decrease blood sugar.
Pack contains: Each pack of Duvel Plus contains of 14 tablets of 60mg/500 mg. It is also available in: Duvel Plus 50/1000 mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Sitagliptin phosphate monohydrate (USP) eq. to Sitagliptin 50 mg.
Metformin HCI (B.P) 500 mg.
