Usage: Esomeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, and ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes.
It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. It is used to treat symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) & other conditions involving excessive stomach acid.
Side effects: Nausea, constipation, dryness of mouth, vomiting, lightheadedness, and abdominal pain may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Headache or flushing may also occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
