Froben
Froben (Flurbiprofen) is an Antirheumatic, Analgesic, and Anti-inflammatory tablet helpful for the treatment of pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from arthritis.
It contains Flurbiprofen as an active ingredient and belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Package contains: It contains 30 tablets of 50mg. Also available as: Froben 100mg Tablets. It is also available in the form of Gel.
Composition:
Each film coated tablets contains:
Flurbiprofen Ph. Eur. B.P 50mg.

Dosage:
150-200 mg in three or four divided doses. This may be increased to 300 mg given in divided doses. For use under medical advice.
Usage:
Froben Tablet is helpful to control, prevent & improve the following diseases, conditions & symptoms like pain and inflammation due to osteoarthritis, rheumatoid disease, ankylosing spondylitis, swollen joints.
This medicine is also useful for other painful conditions like toothache, pain after operations, period pain, and migraine.
Side Effects:
Some side-effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are extremely rare. Side effects can include:
- Headache.
- High temperature.
- Stiffness.
- Pass black tarry stools.
- Vomiting.
- Swelling of face, lips or tongue.
- Fluid retention.
Instructions:
- For use under medical direction.
- To be dispensed only on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
- Not recommended for children
- Protect from excessive heat, light and moisture.
