Hyzith
Hyzith (Azithromycin) U.S.P tablets are manufactured by Axis pharmaceuticals. This medicine is used to treat respiratory tract, skin, and genital infections.
Each pack contains: Each pack of Hyzith contains 6 tablets of 500mg.
Composition:
Each film-coated tablet contains:
Azithromycin dihydrate eq. to Azithromycin (U.S.P) 500mg.
Product complies with U.S.P specifications.
Dosage: As directed by the physician. For adults, 500mg as a single dose and 250mg once a day from the 2nd day are suggested. For children, medicine is suggested as 10mg per kg of their body weight.
Usage: Used to treat infection in the upper and lower respiratory tract. It is also used to treat inflammation and infection of the ear. This medicine is also prescribed by doctors to treat an uncomplicated genital infection. In some cases, the infection of the skin and soft tissues is also treated by this medicine.
Side effects: Patients administered with Hyzith might experience anorexia, allergy, photosensitivity, rash, jaundice, hepatitis, dizziness, kidney disorder, or even acute renal failure.
This medicine should not be administered to patients with liver diseases. Consult your doctor for further details.
