Description:
Inosita plus 50/500mg tablets are composed of Sitagliptin and Metformin.
Sitagliptin belongs to a class of drugs called DPP4 inhibitors. It works by enhancing the function of incretins, a group of metabolic hormones that stimulate a decrease in blood sugar levels.
Metformin belongs to a class of drugs called Biguanides. It works by helping to restore your body’s proper response to the insulin that is naturally produced in the body. It also decreases the amount of sugar that your liver makes and that your stomach and intestine absorb.
It is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to any component of this medication.
Dosage: To be sold and used on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
