Isotrate (Isosorbide Mononitrate) 20Mg Tablet belongs to the class of organic nitrates with blood vessel dilating activity.
It is used for a heart condition called angina pectoris, where the blood vessels of the heart narrow unexpectedly and suddenly, which leads to reduced blood flow to the heart muscles, which leads to suffocation and thus leads to severe chest pain, Neck or arm area.
Isotrate-20Mg Tablet which is the mononitrate form of isosorbide is a powerful vasodilator (dilates blood vessels). It works by forming nitric oxide free radicals (NO) inside our bodies.
Which causes the muscles of blood vessels, especially the heart, to relax, which leads to a healthy blood flow towards the heart muscle, which is under tremendous pressure due to reduced blood flow to it.
