Kempro
Kempro (Procyclidine HCl) tablet is classified under Parkinson’s Disease medication. It is composed of Procyclidine. It is primarily used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
It can also be used to treat the involuntary movements caused as a side effect of certain psychiatric drugs, such as antipsychotics.

Uses:
Kempro is an anticholinergic that works by blocking acetylcholine. This helps decrease muscle stiffness, sweating, and the production of saliva. It also helps improve walking ability in people with Parkinson’s disease.
Precautions:
This medication decreases saliva production, an effect that can increase gum and tooth problems (e.g., cavities, gum disease). Take special care with your dental hygiene (e.g., brushing, flossing) and have regular dental check-ups.
Every medicine has side effects. However, they are rare. Common side-effects of this medicine include;

- Headache
- Thirst
- Seizures
- Nervousness
- Nausea
- Dry mouth
