Lipiget EZ
Lipiget EZ (Atorvastatin + Ezetimibe) Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of high cholesterol levels in the blood. It lowers bad cholesterol and raises the level of good cholesterol.
It is used in conditions when monotherapy failed in lowering Hyperlipidemia.
Package contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 10’s tablets of 10/10mg. It is also available as: Lipiget EZ 10/20mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Atorvastatin 10mg
(as Atorvastatin calcium trihydrate)
Ezetimibe 10mg

How it works: Lipiget EZ Tablet is composed of an anti-hyperlipidemic combination. It contains Atorvastatin and Ezetimibe as active ingredients. Both belong to anti-hypercholesterolemia class of drugs.
It works by lowering the lipid and cholesterol production in the liver and absorption of cholesterol molecules by small intestines.
Some side effects may be caused by these Tablets, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;
- Dry mouth
- Abdominal pain
- Headache
- Decreased appetite
- Trouble sleeping
- Diarrhea
- Nausea
Some serious side effects may also occur;
- Muscle Pain
- Difficulty in urinating
- Unusual tiredness
- Mental or mood changes
- Dark urine
Instructions:
- Store at 25o C (Excursions permitted between 15o C-30o C).
