Muscoril
Muscoril (Thiocolchicoside) is a Skeletal muscle relaxant Capsule used to reduce inflammation and pain, because of its anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. It belongs to the muscle relaxant class and is used to manage acute and chronic painful muscular problems. Muscoril Capsule contains Thiocolchicoside as an active ingredient and is given as adjunct treatment.
It works by reducing pain & swelling. It is indicated for Muscle stiffness caused due to nerve disease, muscle disease, spine issues, and joint disease.
How it works: Muscoril works on the brain centers and spinal cord such as GABBA receptor antagonists and glycine receptor antagonists. It has a marked anticonvulsant effect, so it should not be given to seizure patients.
Package contains: It contains 20 tablets of 4mg. Also available as an Injection.
