Usage:
This medicine is an orally gastroprokinetic agent. Itopride HCL is used in the treatment of
- Functional dyspepsia
- Non-ulcer dyspepsia (chronic gastric) i.e.
- Early satiety
- Sensation of bloating
- Abdominal pain or discomfort
- Anorexia
- Heartburn
- Nausea and vomiting
Dosage:
Please see the enclosed insert or as directed by the physician. However, the recommended dose of this medicine is one tablet daily before meals.
The dosage may be reduced according to the patient’s age and symptoms. This medicine should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
This medicine should not be administered to children under the age of 16 years.
Side effects:
Some of the adverse reactions noted in the patients using this medicine are, skin and subcutaneous disorder, rash and itching, jaundice, nervous system disorder, dizziness & headaches, an endocrine disorder, immune system disorder, blood, & lymphatic system disorder.
