Orzit (Azithromycin) Tablet is used for the treatment of different types of bacterial infections. This medicine is considered helpful and effective for issues like pneumonia, skin infections, and Lyme disease.
It is also helpful for sinus disease and sexually transmitted infections. It treats bacterial infections only.
Package contains: It contains 6 tablets of 500mg in its pack. It is also available in Orzit 250mg.

Each film coated tablet contains:
Azithromycin Dihydrate (U.S.P) eq. to
Azithromycin 500mg.

Uses: Orzit Tablet is a helpful and effective medicine for bacterial infections. It does not work for viral infections. It contains the active ingredient of Azithromycin. This medicine belongs to the antibiotics group of medicines. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria in the body.
Side Effects:
Every product with an active ingredient has side effects; however, they are rare. Some common side effects of these tablets are:
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
Some severe side effects:
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
