Pantil-40 (Pantoprazole BP) 40mg tablets are manufactured by Medizan Laboratories (Pvt.) Ltd. And are marketed by Cell Laboratories (Pvt.) Ltd.

It is used to prevent stomach ulcers.

Each pack contains: Each pack of Pantil-40 contains 14 tablets of 40mg and an enclosed leaflet.

Composition:
Each eccentric coated tablet contains:

Pantoprazole (as sodium sesquihydrate BP) 40 mg

Dosage: As directed by the physician. See package insert for full prescribing information.

Usage: This tablet is also used to prevent stomach ulcers and acidity that may be seen with the prolonged use of painkillers. This medicine should be taken one hour before a meal, preferably in the morning.

The dose will depend on your underlying condition and how you respond to the medicine. It also helps to treat peptic ulcer disease and heartburn.

Side effects: The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

These symptoms are mild, but if they bother you or do not go away, consult your doctor. Long-term use of this medicine may lead to an increased risk of side effects.
