Paromax CR (Paroxetine HCL) tablets are manufactured by Danas pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd and marketed by Genetics pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd.

Each pack contains: Each pack of this medicine contains 30 controlled released tablets of 12.5mg.

Composition:

Each eccentric, film-coated, controlled, release, the tablet contains:

Paroxetine (as HCL) 12.5mg

(USP Specs)

Dosage: As directed by the physician. Adults with age 18-64 should take one dose of 20 mg per day. If this dose doesn’t work then your doctor might increase it. The dosage must not increase by more than 50 mg per day. The usage of this drug in people under the age of 18 years is not confirmed.

Usage: This medicine is used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, anxiety, & post-traumatic stress disorder. The medicine works by restoring the balance of certain chemical substances in the brain.

This medicine helps in improving the mood of the patient, it improves sleep and appetite too. This medicine reduces fear and restores the interest of the patient in daily routine.

Side effects: This medicine like every other medicine has some common side effects. Nausea, sleeplessness, drowsiness, weakness, dry mouth, blurred vision, loss of appetite are its reported side effects.
