Protium
Protium (Pantoprazole) Tablet is generally used for the treatment of GERD and Gastric and Duodenal Ulcer, and Erosive Oesophagitis caused by a disease known as Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
Erosive Oesophagitis refers to the damage caused to an Oesophagus from stomach acid.
Package contains: Each pack of Protium contains 14’s tablets of 40mg.

Each tablet contains:
Pantoprazole 40mg
(as sodium sesquihydrate, Takeda Specs.)
Dosage: Please read the enclosed leaflet before using this product. Take as prescribed by the doctor. Swallow whole tablet with water and don’t break, chew or crush.
How it works: Protium Tablet is composed of Pantoprazole, which belongs to the class of medications known as Proton Pump Inhibitors or PPIs. It works by decreasing the amount of acid produced by your stomach.
It helps heal the damage caused by excess acid in your stomach and oesophagus. It helps prevent ulcers, and may even help avoid oesophagus cancer.
Instructions: Protect from excessive heat, light and moisture. Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
Every medicine has side effects. However, they are extremely rare. Common side-effects of Protium include;
- Diarrhoea
- Vomiting
- Headache
- Abdominal pain
- Allergic reactions in case of Hypersensitivity to the drug or its components
