Safepram
Safepram (Escitalopram) Tablet is used for the treatment and maintenance of depression (major depressive disorder) in adults and children 12-17 years.
It is a prescription medicine. This medicine works by increasing the level of a natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. Safepram is also used to treat severe anxiety (generalized anxiety disorder) in adults
This medication is also used to treat panic disorder with or without fear of places and situations (agoraphobia). This Tablet is also used to treat mental illness with uncontrollable thoughts and repetitive behaviors.
Package contains: It contains 14 tablets of 5mg. Also available in more packings: Safepram 10mg/20mg tablets.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Escitalopram Oxalate (USP) eq. to Escitalopram 5mg.
Dosage and Administration: As directed by the physician or see package insert.
Side Effects:
The following side-effects may commonly occur when using this Tablet. If any of these side effects worsen or last for a long time, you should consult with your doctor:
- Abnormal Dreams
- Abnormal Sensations In The Body
- Anxiety
- Constipation
- Decreased Appetite
- Decreased Sexual Desire (Decreased Libido)
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
Instructions: Keep all medicines out of reach of children. Protect from light, heat, and moisture. Store below 30oC
