Salazodine-EC
Salazodine-EC (Sulfasalazine Delayed-Release U.S.P) Tablet is used for the treatment of ulcerative colitis, post amoebic colitis, proctitis, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, diarrhoea, and bowel inflammation.
This medicine is also used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
How it works: Salazodine-EC tablet is composed of Sulfasalazine, which belongs to a group of medicines known as anti-inflammatory drugs. It shows effectiveness by reducing swelling (inflammation) inside the body.
Package contains: Each pack of Salazodine-EC contains 10’s tablets of 500mg.

Instructions:
- Store at or below room temperature in a dry place.
- Protect from light, humidity and heat.
- Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
- To be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.
Some side effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are extremely rare.
Common side-effects are;
- Unusual tiredness
- Stomach upset
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Headache
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Loss of appetite
Some serious allergic reactions may also occur;
- Blurred vision
- Hearing changes
- Fast heartbeat
- Painful urine
- Blood in the urine
- Signs of low blood sugar
- Signs of kidney problems
