    Sitaglip

    Sitaglip (Sitagliptin + Metformin HCl) tablet is used along with diet and exercise and sometimes with other medications to lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high. Sitagliptin is not used to treat type 1 diabetes.

    Uses: As it controls blood sugar levels, so it lessens your risk of a heart attack or stroke. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, and sexual function problems.

    Package Contains: It contains 10 tablets and is available as 50/500mg.

    Composition:

    Each film coated tablet contains:

    Sitagliptin (as Phosphate Monohydrate) 50 mg.

    Metformin HCl 500 mg.

    Precautions: Use with caution having Asthma, Anemia, Kidney disease, Liver disease, Pancreatitis, Gallstones.

    • sore throat
    • headache
    • diarrhea
    • nausea

    Instructions:

    Store at room temperature(15-30oC).

    Protect from heat, light, and moisture.
