Sofvasc
Sofvasc (Amlodipine Besylate) is manufactured by Wilson’s pharmaceuticals.
This medicine is used as an anti-hypertensive. It is used for angina and high blood pressure by increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart.

Each pack of 10mg of Sofvasc contains 30 film-coated tablets.

Amlodipine Besylate eq. to Amlodipine BP/Eur. P 10mg.
Usage:
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of hypertension and coronary artery disease CAD. It is also used to prevent certain types of angina pain. It is a prescription medicine used to treat high blood pressure.
Sofavsc works by relaxing the blood vessels and thus lowering the blood pressure. Patients suffering from long-term angina and chest pains are prescribed to use this medicine.
This medicine helps to lower chest pain by increasing the amount of blood supply to the heart. It is used by doctors to reduce the effects of damage in the heart blood vessels called Coronary Artery Disease.
Side effects:
The common side effects of this medicine are dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, tiredness, extreme sleepiness, heart palpitations, muscle rigidity, tremor, and abnormal muscle movement.
Dosage:
As advised by the physician. However, a typical dosage of Sofvasc is 5-10mg once daily. For children, the dosage is 2.5-5mg once daily. The maximum dosage for adults is 10mg daily.

Store in a cool, dark, and dark place between 15°-30°C. keep all medicines out of the children’s reach. To be sold and used on the prescription of registered medical practitioners only.
