SPADIX
Spadix (Phloroglucinol hydrate + Trimethylphloroglucinol) Tablet is an Antispasmodic medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of pain related to functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract & biliary tract. Spadix tablet is classified as an Abdominal Pain medication.
Package contains: Spadix contains 3×10’s tablets of 80mg.
Composition:
Each film coated tablet contains:
Phloroglucinol hydrate 80mg
Trimethylphloroglucinol 80mg

Usual Dosage: One tablet three times daily or as directed by the physician. For detailed information please see the insert.
Uses: Spadix tablets are effective in the treatment of spasmodic and painful manifestations of the acute urinary tract, such as Renal Colic. It can also be prescribed to treat pain that manifests in the matter relating to gynecology and pregnancy.
Precautions: Do not take without your doctor’s consent. Notify your doctor if you are taking any medication, or have any allergies. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding notify your doctor before using this tablet.
Side Effects:
Every medicine has side effects. However, they are rare.
Common side-effects of Spadix include;
- Drowsiness
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Hypotension
- Allergic reactions
