Tanakan tablets [Ginkgo biloba extract (EGb 761)] are manufactured by ATCO laboratories limited, the house of quality pharmaceuticals. It is used to treat peripheral vascular disorders.
Each pack contains: Each pack of 40mg of Tanakan contains 30 tablets.
Composition:
Each tablet contains Ginkgo biloba extract (EGb 761) MS 40mg
Excipient q.s 250mg

Usage: It is used to treat cerebral circulatory insufficiency, that is memory loss and a decrease in intellectual capacity. The other uses are to treat peripheral vascular disorders, ENT, and neurosensory disorders.
Administration: Take this medicine just before meals and it should be taken with food.
Dosage: 0ne tablet three times a day, before a meal or as prescribed by a doctor.

Side effects:
It has some minor side effects like irregular heartbeat, dizziness, headache, constipation, and stomach upset. However, it is not safe to use orally during pregnancy as it might cause early labor or excessive bleeding during delivery if used near that time.
Ginkgo might cause infertility too. That is why one must discuss the usage of this medicine with their healthcare provider.
