Tegral
Tegral (Carbamazepine) tablet is an anticonvulsant psychotropic medicine used to treat depressive episodes and to prevent and control seizures.
This medication is known as an anticonvulsant or antiepileptic drug. It is also used to relieve certain types of nerve pain (such as trigeminal neuralgia). This medication works by reducing the spread of seizure activity in the brain and restoring the normal balance of nerve activity.
Package contains: Tegral contains 50’s film coated tablets of 200mg in its pack. Also available as: Tegral Syrup.

Each film coated tablet contains:
Carbamazepine (Novartis Specs) 200mg.
Mfg: Novartis Specs.
Uses:
Tegral Tablet contains the active ingredient Carbamazepine. This medicine belongs to the class of Neuroleptic drugs.
Neuroleptics help relieve symptoms of psychosis, like hearing the voices that are not there, false beliefs, etc.

- Skin rashes
- Steven Johnson syndrome
- Fatal hepatitis
- Pruritus
- Hematuria
- Oliguria
- Muscle pain
- Water intoxication
- Tremor
- Drowsiness
- Diplopia
- Liver dysfunction
- Allergic reactions.
