Telarb-Plus
Telarb-Plus (Telmisartan + Amlodipine Besylate) USP Specs 40mg / 5mg tablet is used treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It also helps to prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
Package contains: Each package of Telarb-Plus contains fully coated 14 tablets of 40mg/5mg & full prescribing information inside.
Composition:
Each bilayered tablet contains:
Telmisartan USP 40mg
Amlodipine Besylate Ph. Eur. eq. to Amlodipine 5mg.
Dosage:
- As directed by the physician.
- For oral use only.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Avoid exposure to heat, light, and humidity.
- Store between 15 to 30°C.
- Improper storage may deteriorate the medicine.
- Only to be sold on prescription of a registered medical practitioner.
Side Effects:
Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur as your body adjusts to the medication. Swelling hands/ankles/feet or flushing may also occur.
If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
Precautions:
Before taking this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to either telmisartan or amlodipine; or to other calcium channel blockers (such as nifedipine); or if you have any other allergies.
This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy. It may harm an unborn baby.
Amlodipine passes into breast milk so it is not recommended for use to breastfeeding mothers.
