Telsarta-D (Telmisartan + hydrochlorothiazide USP) Tablet is a very effective and safe treatment for hypertension.
This medicine is used to treat high blood pressure, heart failure, kidney diseases, strokes, and angina. This Tablet is also helpful to lower the risk of heart failure.
Package contains: Each pack of Telsarta-D contains 14’s tablets of 80/12.5mg. Also Available as: Telsarta-D 40/12.5mg.

Telmisartan USP 80mg
Hydrochlorothiazide USP 12.5mg.

How it works: Telsarta-D Tablet contains two medications; hydrochlorothiazide and telmisartan. Hydrochlorothiazide is a “water pill” (diuretic) that allows a patient to make more urine. Urination helps the body get rid of extra salt and water.
Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker. It helps treat hypertension by relaxing blood vessels and helping the blood to flow easier.
Some side effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are extremely rare. Side effects can include:
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Drowsiness
- Palpitations
- Lightheadedness
- Muscle cramps
- Hypersensitivity
- Dry mouth
- Loss of appetite
- Headache
