    Xcept (Rivaroxaban) Tablet is used to treat and prevent blood clot formation in the body. It prevents venous thromboembolism (VTE) in adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery.

    It is a drug of choice in deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, and blood clots in arterial fibrillation.

    Package contains: Each pack of Xcept contains 14’s tablets of 20mg. Also Available as: Xcept 2.5mg/10mg/15mg.

    Composition:

    Each film coated tablet contains:

    Rivaroxaban 20mg

    How it works:

    Xcept Tablet is composed of Rivaroxaban and belongs to an anti-coagulants class of drugs. It works by preventing the action of clotting factors in the body. 

    Side effects:

    Some side effects may be caused by this medicine, but they are extremely rare. Common side-effects are;

    Xcept back
    • Dry mouth
    • Abdominal pain
    • Headache
    • Cold hands and feet
    • Trouble sleeping
    • Diarrhea
    • Nausea

    Some serious side effects may also occur;

    • Shortness of breath
    • Decreased Sex Drive
    • Unusual tiredness
    • Mental or mood changes
    • Sleep Problems

    These effects tend to be temporary and may disappear when your body adjusts to this medication. You should stop the use immediately and consult your doctor or a pharmacist if an allergic reaction occurs.
