    Lilac (Lactulose) is a 120ml syrup USP.

    Pack contains: The pack contains Lilac 120ml syrup and a leaflet enclosed.

    Composition:

    Each 5ml contains:

    Lactulose USP 3.35g.

    (together with other sugar such as galactose and lactose).

    Indications: Constipation & Portal systemic encephalopathy including stages of hepatic pre-coma and coma.

    Dosage: See package insert for full prescription information.

    Constipation:

    Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents: Initially 15ml twice daily.

    Children (5-10 years): 10ml twice daily.

    Infants (under 1 year): 2.5ml -5ml daily.

    Portal systemic encephalopathy:

    Adults (incl. elderly): 30-50ml three times a day.

    Instructions:

    Store below 30°C or in the refrigerator. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Protect from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children. To be sold on the prescription of registered medical practitioners only.

    Under recommended storage conditions a normal darkening of color may occur. Such darkening is characteristic of sugar solutions and does not affect therapeutic efficiency.

    Uses:

    Lilac syrup is used to treat, regulate, prevent, and ailments, and symptoms: chronic or habitual constipation, improper brain activity due to liver failure, and so on.

    Side effects:
