Zanlan
Zanlan (Cetirizine dihydrochloride) syrup is an Anti-allergic. It is used in the treatment of allergies. The allergy can be due to hay fever, flu, itching or redness of the nose, cold, sneezing, or any nasal allergy.
Composition:
In a bottle of 120 ml oral solution, each 5 ml of Zanlan contains:
5 mg Cetirizine dihydrochloride USP
Dosage:
5 ml once a day or 2.5 ml twice a day is given to the patients of age 1 to 6 years.
10 ml once a day or 5 ml twice a day is given to patients above 6 years old.
The syrup is only for oral use.
Use this syrup as prescribed or directed by the doctor or an authentic medical practitioner.
Instructions and cautions:
Shake the syrup well before using it.
Store the medicine below 30 degrees C.
Avoid placing the medicine in the direct sun or any exposure to heat.
Close the cap of the bottle tightly after using it.
Side effects: Those patients who have hypersensitivity to Cetirizine dihydrochloride should refer to a doctor first before using Zanlan. Using this syrup can cause dizziness, a running nose, sour throat, and drowsiness.
