Ziabex-M (Vildagliptin + Metformin HCI) 50mg + 500mg tablet is used to treat diabetes type-2 Mellitus. Vildagliptin works in part by increasing the amount of insulin produced by your body. It also reduces the amount of a substance called glucagon being produced by your pancreas.

Composition:

Each film coated tablet is composed of:

Vildagliptin (SPL Specs.) 50mg.

Metformin HCI (USP) 500mg.

Dosage: As directed by the physician or registered medical practitioner.

Side effects: Common side effects are hypoglycemia, headache, blurred vision, bloating, gas, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and dizziness, and much more. Other side effects can be a headache, cough, constipation, sweating, hypoglycemia, weakness, excessive sweating, heartburn, etc.

Instruction: Store below 30°C temperature. Protect from heat, light, and moisture. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children. To be sold on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner only.

Precautions: Patients with a history of heart or kidney failure should consult their doctor before taking this medication. Protect from direct exposure to sunlight, heat, and humidity.

Store at room temperature i.e., below 25 degrees Celsius. It may cause dizziness or fatigue, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
